How to connect via ssh from a Mac to an iPhone





Prerequisites


  •   On your mac: you need to download cyberduck and have a mac with wifi enabled
  • On you iPhone:
a) you need to have installed:


-SSH


-BossPrefs
b) Wifi and SSH enabled (use  BossPrefs for doing it)
c) Go to BossPrefs and write down the wifi ip address assigned to your iPhone
Connection


On you cyberduck click on new connection and select SFTP


On server enter the wifi ip address of the iphone.


Port: 21


Username: root


Password: alpine or dootie



If a pop ups appears requesting to allow the key for server xx.xx.xx (ip address of you iphone) choose allow


You are now connected.
